The slight decrease of 0.1 percent from the inflation rate of 24.7 percent registered in October 2015 is on account of decline in non-food inflation which eased in November.

In February 2013, the country’s inflation reached an all-time high of 37.9 percent.

On the other hand, NSO said food inflation jumped to 28.9 percent from 28.3 percent the month before.

“Urban and rural inflation rates stood at 18.9 percent and 28.8 percent respectively,” said the NSO in its Stats Flash.
